A Few Things in the Lab
2011: Miscellaneous bits ‘n’ pieces that i’ve thrown together from time-to-time. Many not really finished, just some quick proof of concepts that may be used later. Oh, and they work best in Firefox, Safari, Chrome, probably Opera and hopefully IE9 ;-).

Tableau - the updated Accessible Table Builder
2010: An online JavaScript driven tool that allows users unfamiliar with the correct HTML to build accessible data tables. It’s been a labour of love for a while and although the bulk of the functionality is there the code structure does need tidying. One for a rainy day (or two!).

2010:Website for the UK sales agent for Dan Wood houses. This is my first site using HTML5, a toe in the water but a considered move in that direction nonetheless. Update: client chose not to use my design so i’m hosting my version locally instead now.

2007:Website for Scottish Borders jewellery designers to showcase their handcrafted collection. The site also features an online store to securely order and pay for items.

2006: An online wizard written in PHP that allows users unfamiliar with the correct HTML to build accessible data tables.

Scottish Borders Council: Internet Payments

2006: Introduction page to the online payment system. The live site has a script to check if the system is available or not and displays an appropriate message. Here, i’ve put an open/close link to show the difference in the top left of the screen.
